This is kind of long and shows the embarrassing state of my dining table (flat surface storage area duh), but this is Spike when it is 9:30 and no one has fed him dinner.

Meri sounds like this right now but that’s because she’s pregnant. Spike is straight up IRATE. I’ve heard that the pitch of their voice is an indicator of their happiness. Low voice = NOT SATISFIED. High mew = VERY HAPPY

i downloaded flash 10 just to watch this. spike did not disappoint. also when my cat does the hungry cry i feel like the worst parent in the world. you would think she hadn’t been fed in years.

My cat Max likes to try out all her different meows when she is hungry or seeking attention. It’s like she goes down the list of noises hoping that one of them will either get her food or being annoying enough that I will do what she wants.
