muchtoyourchagrin: Today in things that do not make sense… on Thursday the Metro BOD approved a across-the-board increase in rail and bus fares… How can WMATA raise the prices when: As a passenger, you never know if you’re going to your destination (e.g., the train may breakdown) Trains are constantly delayed Weekend track work (enough said) Whatever… I just want them to get it right for once. Fix shit and I’ll be willing to pay more. End of story. Preach on. During rush hour, I’m paying nearly $4 to be late wherever I’m going. Team bus.
