Dry Shampoo Hierarchy

Due to inconsistent selections in my local stores, I’ve had to sample quite a few lately.
After rigorous testing and laziness, here are my findings:
  1. Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo, $3
  2. Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo Spray, $3
  3. Batiste Original Dry Shampoo, $8
  4. Psssssst! Instant Spray Shampoo, $5
  5. Johnson’s Baby Powder in Lavender Chamomile, $4
  6. Dove Invigorating Dry Shampoo, $5

478,0000. Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo, $5ButDon’tDoIt

*Note that I haven’t tried many or really any pricey versions since I refuse to spend upwards of $10 on a can of pressurized powder. I’m sure they’re also wonderful but they’ll be used up in 2 weeks so no.

I’ve tried them all and Suave is my personal favorite. John Frieda comes in second but it’s pricier.

  3. elle-oh-elle said: Are there any that don’t smell absolutely awful? I think the Suave Keratin one is best, too, but the smell from it bugs me sometimes.

  5. theotherjen said: I looked for Suave yesterday and no dice. Really want to try it. Batiste is my fav!

  8. chicagodoll said: Spot on. Tresemme is for the birds. Your #1 pick pretty much guarantees I’m gonna have a good hair day. Miracles.
  9. journeybacktome said: I’m a newbie when it comes to dry shampoo but I’ve been getting the catwalk version for whole sale prices. And it smells like heaven ands work wonders on all colors

  11. danielleisdizzy said: Lush’s isn’t aerosol, just a huge bottle of powder. Smells amazing, works great but the nozzle is stupid. (and it’s not super pricey like a lot of Lush stuff.)

i’ve tried many of these myself, and batiste is the winner. [by a landslide] i buy it at my local kroger, but it’s also...
