I know I’m in the minority when I say this, but I am not feeling this book. At alllllll.
The footnotes? Annoying to me. This is not a textbook. I don’t like interrupting the narrative to go read them to figure out what’s going on and then still being confused. Also, I don’t speak a lick of Spanish so there are times when I really wish they would translate some of the less obvious exchanges…
Due back at the library tomorrow and I doubt I’ll finish it. I never do that.
